Christmas delivery for Hawbush Urban Farm
The Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Margaret Wilson, popped in to Hawbush Urban Farm in Brierley Hill yesterday (Monday 09 December) with a special Christmas delivery of litter bins. Dudley Council has donated the bins as part of the authority’s Pride of Place initiative, which aims to make the Borough a cleaner place to live.

Hawbush Urban Farm is a registered charity that is open to the general public seven days a week. It is home to a variety of animals including horses, pigs, sheeps and goats and organises a range of special events throughout the year.

The Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Margaret Wilson, said:

"Hawbush Urban Farm is a splendid free community resource that relies on public donations to make ends meet.

"They take a real pride in the service they provide and the Council is thrilled to support them by providing extra litter bins. It is a good example of Pride of Place reaching out to different parts of the Borough".
